Following a group assignment at UTS, I made a stop-mo set of a greenhouse environment with members Ren Davies, Ying Lei Zhang and Mark Numan.
We visited a local recycled materials shop and crafted everything by hand. Later we shot and lit the environment to display two different moods following a hot summers day and cool night time vibe.
Later on I chose one shot to integrate my own 3D character into, animating and compositing:

Some of the hand making process included making a proxy greenhouse to test camera angles and mobility. We made the roof removeable, and the floor can be split into 2 along a hidden cut along the cobblestone path. This allowed us to shoot the final shots with more flexibility. We also had a functional LED flower lamp using a simple wire and battery connection.
